Studio Founded is a full-service creative studio.

We create brand worlds that invite desire and dialogue, with a process that encompasses brand strategy, narrative, design, and experience. As a purposefully small studio, each project is personal and developed through close collaboration.


Our work is guided by a dedication to our craft and sensitivity to feeling. With a background in art history and curating, we bring a curatorial and art-directed sensibility, creating design drawn from art, print, and archival references.

Our design methodology draws on narrative, curation, and experience. We begin with brand strategy and story, and translate them to brand and website experience. We enjoy working with analogue and tactile references, bringing texture and touches of the hand to brand environments.


Hannah Shaw leads Studio Founded, where she has worked with over 100 brands. She holds a BA in Design and an MA in Art History and Museum Curating. Her work is guided by her curatorial approach and experience in the arts, museums, galleries, and culture.

Made for independent brands, from fashion labels to photographers, the Template Library brings studio-quality design created at the meeting point between strategy and fine-art sensibility. Each template is art directed, made for brands seeking designs with editorial edge.


We've sold over one thousand templates to independent brands, including Anna Claire Beasley, Jin Lee, Maison Bodega, Joel and Justyna, and Liron Erel. They're designed to become part of a brand's world, and can be used alone or to complement a bespoke project.
