How to Build a Multilingual Squarespace Site Step-by-Step
Here’s a step-by-step guide to setting up Weglot:
I. Open Squarespace Settings
From your Squarespace* dashboard, visit Settings > Website > Site Languages.
II. Choose Multilingual by Weglot
Scroll down to Multilingual by Weglot and click connect.
III. Connect to Weglot
Allow Weglot permissions, then log into your Weglot account or create one.
IV. Choose Your Languages
Select your site’s original language, then pick the additional languages you want to make available.
V. Add the Switcher
Once connected, your site is now multilingual. Weglot will automatically add a language switcher to your Squarespace site header so visitors can toggle between languages.
VI. Edit Your Translations
